The New Den
The home of Millwall FC, including a review of the logistics, catering and matchday experience, along with details of visits to the stadium on this site.
Arrival
Millwall is an absolute pain to get to by road, and when you drive towards and into the stadium compound there is a hostile greeting awaiting you.
The Millwall cafe is directly opposite the entrance to the ground. I'm sure the coffee is great - but you are not going to want to go in.
Program
There isn't one. You can buy a range of community produced programs from ebay, though the one I bought was little more than a team sheet.
Food
I didn't eat at Millwall, though there is an away Fanzone inside the stadium on entry, and unusually the burger van inside it was still serving food after the game.
Atmosphere
It's pretty hostile. We did a pretty good job of shutting up the home support for a while - but once they are in the ascendency its a pretty rough place to sit.
Getting Away
It took forever to get out of London. We left at 07:20 in the morning, making the 15:00 kick-off with about 20 minutes to spare, and did not get home until after midnight.
