I read Corktown immediately after 'Death on Cromer Beach'. Its the polar opposite, American, brash at times, fast paced, and with a body count building at an even faster pace. You know all along who the killers are, as the story is conveyed in parallel, though the segue at the end should not surprise either.

I'd read more of the series, probably when I'm light on time and focus.
