My first book of 2024, borrowed in eBook format form Lancashire Libraries via BorrowBox.

The first in a series of novels about Inspector Ramsay, 'A Lesson in Dying' tells the story of the murder of Harold Medburn, and of the investigation by villagers Patty and Jack Robson to support Inspector Ramsay in getting to the truth.

I enjoyed the read, and I'm hoping to read more this year. Like most Ann Cleeves stories there are a number of potential murderers, and I did not guess until immediately before the disclosure in the book.
