The Yorkshire Street / Centenary Way roundabout has disappeared as part of the Town2Turf regeneration project in #Burnley.

I was confused at the start of the Town2Turf project when the perfectly acceptable roundabout at the junction of Yorkshire Street and Centenary Way was demolished and replaced by a painted white mini roundabout which if anything made the junction harder to negotiate.

Well that roundabout has also been removed now, seemingly prioritising traffic down the A682 into Burnley from M65 J10, and on the Manchester Road from Rossendale.

So I originally thought Town2Turf was supposed to complete ready for the Premier League season last summer - looks like it should just about wrap up for the start of the Championship season a year later.
