I've made some final(π€£) amends to my new Kirby CMS site - site search, and a lightweight social share widget.
First, I'm really pleased with the site search functionality that I've implemented. The Kirby instructions are fantastic and functional - here, so I won't claim all the credit. By combining with the code that I wrote to render archive pages though, I'm really happy with the output.
What I'm especially happy with is that the content of posts with generic titles - ie snap (titleless image posts) or micropost (titleless short text posts) , is immediately clear.
I've also converted some text that I previously wrote for micro.blog to produce a set of lightweight social share buttons. I'll probably make them more lightweight still yet - selfishly these make sharing to the wider web easier when I think will be of interest, I doubt anybody else ever uses these links. If I can work out how to do it in the future, I might well move this functionality to the admin panel rather than rendering in the front end.
