I've become increasingly good at getting training volume in over the last few years, without getting the results that I wanted out of that in terms of competitiveness and weight.
With two marathons this year and as many Parkruns that @craftedbypanda allows me out for, I need to be leaner, lighter and faster.
One of the changes I'm making in 2022 is to maintain a food diary. I'm using nutracheck, but plenty of other options out there. I won't achieve my goals by training alone.
Mainly to keep myself accountable while working next door to the kitchen, and to run a flight calorie deficit to reduce weight slowly, also to make sure that I fuel correctly for training and recovery.
About 21lbs to go to a sensible race weight.
